- Enrollment state is tracked for retries, support, and troubleshooting.
- Identity verification uses PLAID for client users only.
- Provisioning uses Okta + workflow/SCIM style entitlements in this prototype.
- Manual fallback can be routed to Digital Client Care when provisioning fails.
Architecture Step Map (1-15)
- 1 User initiates self-enrollment, retry count is checked, and IDV bypass table is evaluated before PLAID session start.
- 2 Enrollment API validates client identity and eligibility.
- 3 Enrollment API checks existing identity record in source systems.
- 4 Enrollment state and lookup metadata are persisted.
- 5 Client path triggers identity verification workflow.
- 6 Client completes PLAID IDV modal and returns.
- 7 Enrollment API validates IDV result for continuation.
- 8 Enrollment API initiates identity provisioning request.
- 9 Okta identity is created or updated.
- 10 Enrollment API persists identity + app entitlements in response.
- 11 Okta event hook publishes lifecycle event.
- 12 Identity Lifecycle Messages relay event to subscribers.
- 13 Identity Lifecycle Services provision or de-provision downstream apps.
- 14 Identity Lifecycle Services activate client identity status.
- 15 Okta sends activation email to the client.
